Scope of Application |
Commonly used in hydraulic and pneumatic
systems; suitable for hydraulic oil, water glycol
(HFC) and oil in water emulsion (HFA), as well as animal oil, vegetable oil, fuel oil and heavy oil; resistant to methyl, ethyl, propyl and butane; and resistant to 70°C in water and 90°C in air. |
Similar to NBR70 in performance. Resistant to 150°C in air; good mechanical properties; and resistant to mineral oil, hot water, ozone, and temperature. |
Resistant to high temperature, hot oils, aromatic
solvents, many chemicals, and flame resistant hydraulic fluids containing phosphate esters and chlorinated hydrocarbons. |
Excellent chemical resistance; wide range of operating temperatures, generally up to 260°C, with higher instantaneous temperature resistance. |
Resistant to steam (up to 200°C), hot water, hot gases (up to 150°C), weak acids, flame resistant hydraulic fluids containing phosphate esters, and mineral oil free brake fluids. Special note: EPDM is not applicable to mineral oils. |
Colored O-ring material, resistant to high temperature (up to 210°C), oxygen, water (up to 100°C) for static seals only. |
Good resistance to aging and salt water, commonly used in the refrigeration industry (e.g. Freon 12). |
Color O-ring material, good resistance to high and low temperatures, commonly used in applications requiring oil and flame resistance, such as aerospace. |
